Help | CRÜ
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This page covers the basics of using CRÜ and where to go for help. If it says something different from the Terms, Community Guidelines or Privacy Policy, those documents take priority.
1. What CRÜ is
CRÜ is an Australian queer social app for adults. You can use it to post, talk, message, find Happenings and meet other queer people. We’re starting in Brisbane, but the app is built for people across Australia.
2. Feeds and relevance
What you see is not always chronological. CRÜ can use the forum you are in, profile context, private preferences, activity, broad location and safety signals to decide what is most relevant.
Those signals are not shown as a public popularity score, and CRÜ does not promise the same reach for every post.
- Use forums and topic spaces to find the kind of conversation you want.
- Saves, follows, replies and other activity can help the app learn what is useful to you.
- Ordering and recommendations can change as CRÜ changes.
3. Posts and comments
Posts and comments are for real conversation. Disagreement is fine when it stays within the Community Guidelines.
- Do not use posts or comments for harassment, doxxing, scams or targeted pile-ons.
- A reply, reaction or follow does not mean someone owes you more contact.
- Use the edit, delete, report, save and other controls available on the part of the app you are using.
4. Messages
Who you can message and how messaging works can depend on CRÜ’s current connection, safety and feature rules. Those rules can change, so this page is not a promise that a particular chat or invitation limit will stay the same forever.
If someone blocks you, asks you to stop or no longer makes contact available, do not try to get around that boundary through another account or another part of CRÜ.
5. Reporting, blocking and moderation
Use the report and block controls where they are available. Reports are reviewed using the information available, the surrounding context, severity, credible risk and relevant history.
A report does not automatically mean action will be taken. Depending on what happened, an outcome can include no action, content removal, limits, warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or removal.
If you think a moderation decision affecting your account or content was materially wrong, email support@cruspace.com.au with the subject “Moderation review”.
6. Photos and profile safety
Some photos may be checked against CRÜ’s safety standards before or after they become visible. Review timing can vary, so CRÜ does not promise a fixed review time.
- Profile photos should represent you rather than impersonate someone else.
- Nudity, overt sexual content, threatening imagery, exposed private information and other unsafe profile-photo content may be rejected or removed.
7. Privacy
Not everything you give CRÜ is public. Some profile information can be public, some can stay private while helping relevance, and analytics, moderation, trust and security information is not meant to appear on your profile.
For the full details, including analytics, push notifications, service providers and deletion retention, read the Privacy Policy.
8. Happenings
Happenings help you find events and understand a bit more about them before you go. Unless CRÜ clearly says it is organising an event, the organiser, venue or ticketing provider is responsible for the event, entry requirements, tickets, refunds and venue conditions.
Saving a Happening or showing private interest is not meant to put you on a public attendee list. Check the listing and the organiser’s information before attending.
9. Account deletion
If you can sign in, use CRÜ’s account-deletion control. If you cannot access the app, you can still start deletion by emailing support@cruspace.com.au with the subject “CRÜ account deletion request”.
Read the Account Deletion page before submitting a request so you understand the cooling-off period and what information may remain for conversation context, safety, moderation, security, audit or legal reasons.
10. Contact support
Email support@cruspace.com.au for account access, privacy, deletion, moderation review or Happening support that you cannot resolve in the app. Give us enough context to find the account or content involved, but never send your password or authentication codes.
11. A few things CRÜ cannot promise
- CRÜ cannot promise replies, popularity, friendship, dating, event attendance or offline safety.
- Public follower or engagement scores are not meant to define a person’s value on CRÜ.
- CRÜ is not an emergency service or a substitute for specialist professional support when there is an urgent real-world risk.
