Terms of Use | CRÜ
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These are the legal rules for using CRÜ. Read them with the Community Guidelines & Safety Rules and the Privacy Policy.
CRÜ is an adult community app. No member is owed attention, replies, visibility or access to another member.
1. Agreement and operator
CRÜ is an Australian queer social app operated by CRUSPACE PTY LTD. These Terms govern access to and use of the CRÜ website, mobile app and related services (the Service). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Documents that apply
The Community Guidelines & Safety Rules form part of these Terms and are enforceable. The Privacy Policy explains how CRÜ handles information; it is a privacy notice rather than a promise that overrides these Terms. The Community Principles describe CRÜ's intended culture and are not contractual rules.
Happening organisers may also be subject to the Organiser Terms and Happening Policy. If a supplemental policy conflicts with these Terms, these Terms prevail unless the supplemental policy clearly says otherwise for that feature.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. CRÜ is designed primarily for adults in Australia, although the Service may be technically accessible elsewhere.
4. Your account
- Provide information that is accurate enough for us to operate and protect your account.
- Keep your sign-in method and device access reasonably secure.
- Do not create or use accounts to impersonate someone, evade enforcement, manipulate limits or facilitate abuse.
- Tell us promptly if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
5. What CRÜ provides
CRÜ lets members post, reply, message, find Happenings and connect with other people. It cannot promise attention, replies, reach, recommendations, attendance, friendships, relationships or any other outcome.
CRÜ may sort, filter or recommend content and people using private preferences, profile context, activity, broad location context and safety or integrity signals. What you see and how things are ordered can change as the app changes.
6. Community Guidelines and consent
You must follow the Community Guidelines & Safety Rules. Participation and contact are voluntary. A message, follow, reply, save, reaction or prior conversation does not create an entitlement to further attention or access.
Respect blocks, refusals, boundaries and withdrawal of consent. Repeated unwanted contact, coercion, harassment, discrimination, exploitation, scams, privacy abuse and other prohibited conduct may result in restriction or removal.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give CRÜ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute and otherwise process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, promote the relevant CRÜ surface and improve the Service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. Do not upload content that unlawfully infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.
CRÜ does not guarantee that content will remain available forever or receive any particular visibility.
8. Messaging and user interactions
Messaging features are optional and subject to the controls, limits and eligibility rules CRÜ makes available at the time. Those controls can change to support safety, reliability and healthy use.
Use judgment before sharing personal information or meeting someone offline. CRÜ does not verify every statement a member makes and cannot guarantee another person's identity, intentions or conduct.
9. Happenings
Happenings help members discover events and understand social context. Unless CRÜ clearly states that it is the organiser, CRÜ is a discovery platform rather than the event organiser, venue or ticketing provider.
Organisers are responsible for their listings, event delivery, legal obligations, venue arrangements, access information, ticketing, cancellations, refunds and conduct. CRÜ may review, edit, decline, hide or remove a listing for safety, clarity, trust, legal or product reasons.
10. Notifications
CRÜ may send service and push notifications where the product supports them and your device permits them. Delivery is not guaranteed. You can control device-level push permission through your operating-system settings.
11. Moderation and enforcement
CRÜ may use automated systems and human review to protect members and the Service. We may remove or limit content, reduce distribution, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts or take other proportionate action where we reasonably believe it is appropriate.
We may act without advance notice where notice could increase risk, enable evasion, compromise an investigation or conflict with legal or safety obligations. Where appropriate, you may ask support to review a moderation decision, but a review does not guarantee reversal.
12. Technical misuse
- Do not probe, attack, overload or interfere with CRÜ systems without written authorisation.
- Do not scrape, harvest, crawl or systematically copy member or Service data without permission.
- Do not bypass rate limits, access controls, safety controls, moderation controls or feature eligibility rules.
- Do not use malware, malicious automation, credential abuse or other methods intended to compromise the Service or another member.
13. Fees and future paid features
CRÜ may offer free features and may introduce paid features, subscriptions or other purchases in the future. We will show the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms and material purchase conditions before you buy.
Purchases made through an app store or payment provider may also be subject to that provider's billing and refund rules. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. CRÜ intellectual property
Except for member content and third-party material, the Service, software, interface, branding, logos, product assets and underlying CRÜ materials are owned by or licensed to CRÜ. You may use them only as allowed by the Service or with permission.
15. Third-party services
CRÜ may depend on or link to third-party infrastructure, maps, event pages, ticketing services, social platforms and other services. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their separate terms, privacy practices, availability or conduct.
16. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, be interrupted, be withdrawn or behave differently across devices and environments. User-generated information and Happening information may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated.
CRÜ does not provide legal, medical, financial or other professional advice through ordinary community content.
17. Liability and non-excludable rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRÜ is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from user-generated content, other members, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using CRÜ at any time and may request account deletion through the available deletion process. Logging out, hiding a profile, account suspension and account deletion are different states.
CRÜ may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or Rules, protect members, respond to legal obligations, address security or abuse, or protect the integrity of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as CRÜ changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. The updated Terms apply from their stated effective date. Where law requires fresh consent rather than notice, we will seek it.
20. General and governing law
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; CRÜ may transfer them as part of a lawful reorganisation, financing or transfer of the Service.
These Terms and the enforceable policies incorporated into them form the agreement about your use of the Service. They are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable Commonwealth laws. Courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes, subject to any rights you have to bring a matter elsewhere under applicable law.
21. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@cruspace.com.au or through the Contact page.
